My name is Phil Giles and thank you for visiting The Giles Practice website. You’ve taken the first step towards finding the help and support you need whatever your particular presenting problem might be. We will do our very best to give you the personal, professional service you would expect in a safe, non-judgmental and completely confidential environment.

We are a growing, progressive practice offering both short and long term therapy – face-to-face for those clients who are able to attend in person or worldwide via Skype at a mutually convenient time, 7 days a week.

I am fully qualified and a registered member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy and the National Council of Psychotherapists, working within prescribed ethical frameworks for your complete peace of mind.

Stuart Giles is currently undergoing accredited training and is a Student Member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy. He also has an interest in trauma therapy and working with young people in further education. He is about to undertake a Bachelor’s Degree in Integrative Therapy in Southampton.

Our hourly rates are competitive with no hidden charges. You will receive a free introductory assessment either in person or via Skype to find out whether therapy is the right option for you, after which, you will be able to make an appointment for your first 50-minute session. This can be conveniently and securely paid for via PayPal.

About Us

I have been a practising Counsellor and Psychotherapist since 2007 and hold a number of United Kingdom qualifications all of which can be viewed at the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy.

Group Therapy can often be extremely helpful in Counselling & Psychotherapy. It enables people who are experiencing the same problems, which could be anxiety, depression, bereavement or anger issues, to share those problems and to understand that they are not alone.
